Production Workflow Customers Benefit from Xerox Professional Services

SAN DIEGO, CA, June 1, 2009 — Solimar Systems, Inc., a Xerox Business Partner and leading developer of enterprise output management solutions, today announced that Xerox Corporation’s Advanced Services Group (ASG) will now be able to implement and deploy Solimar’s software solutions.

The new agreement will allow Xerox to package professional services and consulting around Solimar’s enterprise software to help customers with everything from re-engineering documents to managing massive print jobs and the archival of large documents and print jobs.

Under the terms of the agreement, Xerox will now provide professional services for Solimar’s products such as:

  • Rubika™: Solimar Rubika is a modular document re-engineering workflow solution that can be configured to automate manual processes, enable postal savings, add value to documents (such as TransPromo applications), and dynamically modify print data at run time.
  • Solimar® Print Director™ Enterprise: Solimar’s job management platform, Solimar Print Director Enterprise (SPDE), provides a wide range of functionality including multi-level security, remote administrator and operator access, event logging and notification, direct device connectivity capabilities, and powerful job routing and tracking with industry-leading data stream transformations. Xerox ASG consultants are software solutions experts who can implement SPDE as a standalone product or as part of a complete workflow solution integrated with Rubika and SOLsearcher™ Enterprise, a secure web presentment solution.
  • SOLsearcher™ Enterprise: Solimar’s SOLsearcher Enterprise (SSE) is a highly scalable web presentment solution that enables organizations to effectively index, store, search and retrieve large collections of transactional and scanned documents. SSE is ideal for B2B, B2C, and B2E environments and also provides the backbone for an automated production re-print workflow.
