Enhances Font Management and Optimizes Output
SAN DIEGO, CA – June 10, 2004 – Solimar Systems, Inc., a leading global provider of production printing and secure document delivery solutions, today announced the availability of iCONVERT v9.03, a robust transform engine that converts IPDS data streams into PCL, PDF, PostScript and TIFF output formats to satisfy a wide variety of printing and electronic presentation requirements. iCONVERT 9.03 also provides the ability to dynamically route documents with optional job separation and file naming capabilities, and supports job parsing, page counting, and the dynamic naming of documents via the system’s unique Job Events Module.
Version 9.03 of iCONVERT includes an improved graphical user interface (GUI) that is better organized and easier to use. It also has added a new operator display window that provides immediate message logs to users as they work, resulting in a more efficient operating environment. Improved font management capabilities have also been added to iCONVERT v9.03, including more font handling options and additional automated functionality. iCONVERT’s conversion speeds can exceed 1000 pages per minute, depending upon the application complexity and other environmental factors.

- AFP outline font support, including downloaded outline fonts
- Resident font support for full IBM Font Collection, including Type 1 and TrueType outline fonts
