A Can’t Miss Opportunity to Network with Industry Colleagues and the Solimar Team

In my last conversation piece, I talked about forging a connection. It seems logical to follow that one with an opportunity—one I think is a can’t miss—to network and gain knowledge. For those familiar with Solimar, you might have guessed that I am talking about our 2018 Solimar Systems User Conference.

Our User Conference is scheduled this year to run the 8th through the 10th of May (2018 of course!) in beautiful and vibrant San Diego. And this year we have switched it up on our attendees to make sure the experience is not only valuable but unique. For 2018, the venue will be at the Sheraton San Diego Hotel and Marina on the water, a change from our previous run at the DoubleTree near our downtown office headquarters. With a new location, we have a perfect backdrop for a new take on our User Conference.

This year, we will be giving our clients a chance to train on our Chemistry platform of solutions ahead of the meat of our conference. The first day will allow those of you that are looking for hands-on training to absorb the process and power of our tool sets while asking questions that relate to their operational and production environment. Part of a strong relationship with our clients and partners is listening—and this change comes from direct feedback from last year’s conference.

Moving into the main portion of our User Conference, and with everybody on the same page when it comes to the pieces and parts of our Chemistry platform, we will be sharing our vision and direction of Chemistry for the balance of 2018 and beyond into the next year with an anticipated update at our 2019 Solimar Systems User Conference. This will also include presentations from good clients like yourself, partners and updates on the current printing market from KeyPoint Intelligence’s Pat McGrew.

Of course, we will also pepper in some fun and networking. We plan to continue our tradition of taking everyone out to Petco Park for a Padres baseball game! With a view from one of the well-positioned park suites, it is a great time to get to know your fellow conference attendees and forge that stronger connection with Solimar executives, sales staff and solutions engineers. Focusing on the power of building relationships, the baseball game won’t be the only time you can network. We will also have an opening reception, time to network at lunch during the conference and in the evenings after the pre-scheduled events conclude.
