Windows Spooler Connectivity Module(GET PDF)

The Windows Printer Spooler output connectivity module of the Solimar® Print Director™ Enterprise (SPDE) spools output data directly to Windows printers or output devices without using the printer driver. Since SPDE can output data in many different printer languages, this module sends the raw data to Windows printer driver definitions and Windows Port Monitor. This module is used to communicate with or send data to generic Windows devices that only support custom port definitions such as COM or HPIB. Spooling directly to Windows drivers also supports sending output data via LPR, file, LPT, and Novell.
