SOLscript™ Test File Checklist

VIPP® RESOURCES

In addition to the VIPP print file, please provide all of the resources needed to process the file, including all VIPP core files and setup files that may have been changed. These files are typically located in /usr/xgf/src/ on UNIX systems or \xgf\src\ on DOS systems.

• On the DocuPrint NPS and DocuTech 61xx, the VIPP files are located in the /usr/xgf/ and /usr/xgfc/ directories.
• On DOS systems, resources are located under the \xgf\ and \xgfc\ directories.
• For VIPP IDE, the resources are located under c:\vide2\xgf\ and c:\xgfc\.

Please note: The actual location of these folders is dependent upon your specific environment. If resources are stored in other directories, please provide them as well.

VIPP core files and setup files:

• xgf: UNIX link file
• xgfdos: DOS link file
• xgf.lic: License file
• xgf.eeh: VIPP code
• xgf.ddg: Data Driven Graphics module
• xgf.def: General defaults
• xgf.bat: Standard Background attribute keys (BATkeys)
• xgf.gep: Standard Color keys, Pattern keys, and Graphic Element Property keys (GEPkeys)
• xgf.mup: Standard multi-up definitions
• xgf.pcc: Standard PCC definitions
• xgfdos.run: DOS core files and resource library paths
• xgfunix.run: UNIX core files and resource library paths

Did you remember to include:

• Font list, encoding tables, fonts (.lst, .enc, .pfa, .pfb)
• Forms (.frm)
• Job Descriptor Tickets (.jdt)
• Database Master (.dbm)
• Images (.jpg, .tif)
• Distribution Lists (.lst)
• PostScript or VIPP segments and Encapsulated Postscript (.ps, .seg, .eps)
• Data file (.dat)
• Decomposition files (.dd)
• Hardcopy output of sample data
