SAN DIEGO, CA - March 8, 2004 - Solimar Systems, Inc., a leading global provider of production printing and secure document delivery solutions, today announced iCONVERT v9.02, a production print server solution that transforms IPDS data streams into various output formats to satisfy a wide variety of printing and electronic presentation requirements. iCONVERT v9.02 includes PCL, PDF, and PostScript output capabilities in its base system component, and offers TIFF output through an optional add-on module.
Version 9.02 of iCONVERT enhances the product's foundation by adding an improved graphical user interface (GUI) that allows users to quickly navigate the system. Because the new GUI has many Microsoft Windows-like characteristics, users are able to intuitively operate iCONVERT v9.02, enabling them to get more work accomplished in less time.

Support for 600dpi resolution for PostScript and PCL output has been added to iCONVERT v9.02, enabling superior printing on today's high volume high quality digital printers. iCONVERT's support for high-density 600dpi resolution allows for enhanced halftone capabilities and adds depth to printed images. iCONVERT v9.02 also enables organizations to process AFP applications on non-AFP devices. Common uses include printing centralized output on non-AFP distributed and production printers, and creating electronic output for use in Internet, fax or email applications.
