Enterprise Output Management Solution Adds Powerful Productivity Capabilities

Solimar® Print/Director allows organizations to easily expand and control their enterprise production print processes by providing robust data stream transforms and physical connections for a wide variety of computing environments. Print/Director's industry leading data stream support includes AFP, Xerox Metacode/DJDE, PostScript, VIPP® and PCL for printing, as well as PDF and TIFF for web, fax, and email applications. In addition to enabling "any-to-any" data stream portability, the system also incorporates powerful job management features, providing a single comprehensive enterprise output management solution that meets a diverse range of printing and electronic presentation requirements.

  • Specialized support for the complete line of Canon printers
  • Support for IPDS printers via BUS/TAG channel output connection

In addition, version 5.12 of the Solimar® Print/Director provides even greater levels of Xerox LPS printer emulation with many new capabilities that enable organizations to seamlessly migrate from legacy systems to non-proprietary devices. Moreover, several new output management features have been added, expanding Print/Director's processing flexibility and further meeting the needs of a very sophisticated and unique customer base.
