Solimar® Print Director™ Enterprise is Optimized for Xerox FreeFlow™

SAN DIEGO, CA, October 2, 2007 - Solimar Systems, Inc., a leading developer of enterprise output management solutions, today announced its Solimar® Print Director™ Enterprise (SPDE) product has been designated as "Optimized for FreeFlow™" by Xerox Corporation.

Solimar's software has earned the selected Xerox Business Partner distinction by tightly integrating its output management technology with the Xerox FreeFlow™ Digital Workflow Collection. Xerox's FreeFlow® Digital Workflow Collection operates as the "central point of control" in a digital print shop environment by automating printing and administrative operations and integrating digital printing methods with traditional business, management and production processes.

• transforming data streams into compatible Print Description Languages (PDLs) that Xerox production printers can leverage
• optimizing inefficient and highly graphical data streams to enable Xerox printers to reach rated speeds
• enhancing job management and controlling printer and finishing resources in a centralized fashion
• inserting and controlling Xerox Programming Information Format (XPIF) Job Tickets utilized by Xerox FreeFlow for automated print and finishing functionality.
