SPD SAN DIEGO, CA - Solimar Systems, Inc. announces the addition of comprehensive Online Help to the Solimar® Print/Director and Connectivity Server. The Online Help provides users with instant, one-click access to option descriptions and hyperlinks leading to more in-depth discussions and explanations of the product's many features. Combining the Help system with hardcopy and PDF versions of the user manual, allows users to choose the most convenient method for viewing key information. Program updates for Print/Director and Connectivity Server that include Online Help are available at no charge for users on active support.

The context-sensitive Help system uses the Microsoft HTML Help interface and includes the following features:

  • Context-sensitivity (tabsheet level)
  • Navigation pane featuring Contents, Index, Search, and Favorites tabs
  • Approximately 11,000 cross-reference hyperlinks
  • Full text search
  • Related Topics button on each page
  • Familiar, browser-style window

This comprehensive Help system gives users direct access to essential information in a flexible interface taking the program's ease-of-use factor to a new level!

  • Click the Help button to view descriptions of the currently displayed tabsheet options.
  • Use the hyperlinks to jump to deeper discussions in the Overview and ancillary topics, or to access information for other tabsheets or complementary modules.
  • Click the Related Topics button at the bottom of each page to view a select list of associated Help topics.
  • Bookmark frequently visited Help topics on the Favorites tab.
  • Expand the tree on the Contents tab to reveal module structure and option locations.
  • Scan the entire text for a particular term from the Search tab, or seek out a keyword on the Index tab.
  • Hide the navigation pane for a better view of the program window.
  • Click the contact links at the bottom of the page to send an e-mail to Technical Support or Sales, or to jump to the Solimar Systems web site.
