Parallel Input/Output Modules (GET PDF)

The Parallel Input and Output connectivity modules of the Solimar® Print Director™ Enterprise (SPDE) receive print streams from PCs or standalone devices and send data to printers via a high-speed buffered Parallel Centronics adapter.

Technical Specifications

General

• Receives and sends data at high-speeds (buffered at conversion)
• Supports user defined time-out interval for end of job detection
• Supports up to four input or output parallel connections per print server
• Uses Solimar's high-speed parallel adapter to receive and send data
